2) Push the STEP button on the window that appears
3) Choose the STEP file from a floppy or hard disk.
4) Click on DO IT to open up the control window
5) You may notice a difference from PICS: only the PLAY, STOP, and
speed options are available. You can't skip around in a STEP
animation.
6) When you hit the PLAY button, the control window will disappear
and the animation will begin at the desired speed
7) To stop the animation, click the mouse button
8) To close the STEP file, click the STOP button on the control
window and you will be returned to the main window
When viewing STEP files, you will receive an error if you are not...
1) Set to the same bit depth as the animation was recorded
2) Have an equal size or larger monitor than the one on which
it was recorded.
Sorry, there is no sample STEP file included. STEP files take lots of disk space. The reason for this is that each frame is a snapshot of the entire screen. Therefore, although powerful, they are huge.
